Only about 50 known copies of the first-edition 1611 King James Version of the Bible exist, and Hardin-Simmons University now has one, thanks to a Dallas couple. Dr. Charles Tandy and his wife, Roena, also donated a collection of other Bibles, leaves, fragments and volumes of secondary literature, some dating to 1521.
